Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Assist in menu planning and ingredient preparation to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards throughout all food handling processes
• Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food with attention to detail
• Ensure proper knife skills are used for efficient and safe food preparation
• Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional service in fine dining or casual settings
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience in fast pace, high volume environments are required
• Strong knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and food safety regulations
• Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality
• Prior experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is a plus
